1. Before starting treatment with Mounjaro, discuss with your doctor or pharmacist the correct dosage and administration based on your particular health condition and other medications you are taking. Normally, the recommended dose is 0.25mg or 0.5mg administered subcutaneously once a week. 2. Inject Mounjaro into the thigh or abdomen (about 2 inches away from the navel and 1 inch towards the side) in a rotating injection site. Do not inject into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, irritated, or scarred. 3. Dosage should be administered at the same time each week, usually on a specific day. 4. Prior to each injection, clean the injection site with an alcohol swab to prevent infection. 5. Use a new injection site each time to minimize the risk of injection site reactions.
